That is how we felt at the end of last week when we got a letter from the hospital hubby interviewed with in Iowa. They were choosing another applicant for the position.
Our move is put on hold til after the winter. It is disappointing, but we have already moved on and are just reminding ourselves that when everything is right, all the pieces will fall into place the way they are supposed to. Probably right around spring break, we will start sending out resumes again and will hope to be moving sometime during the summer next year. Gives us time to enjoy the fall/winter in Phoenix, save more money, and not be rushed in packing and preparing.
Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts during this interview and other stuff!
I recently had the opportunity to review Time4Learning, they are an education based website for families.
It was really easy to register and login, with a separate login for both myself and my daughter. There are great forums for parents in addition to an area that you can keep track of how much time your child has spent on the site and what they did. For my daughter, she really enjoyed being on the computer by herself and not having to be helped to do anything. She loved the illustrations and colors used. She especially loved the math games, it was easy for her to understand and was very clear in the directions. I appreciated how interactive everything was, she wasn’t just sitting there staring at a computer screen, she was shouting out the answers and getting really involved.
Disclaimer: This opinion is entirely my own. I received a 30-day free trial in exchange for my honest review.
annoying good news? Right? We still haven’t heard back on Hubby’s interview from last week. I know she said not to expect to hear from her til the end of this week, but a girl can hope right? I would love to know what is happening so I can stop feeling like I am in a state of limbo. Ugh. Patience is so not my strong suit…
This is what can be found in almost every room in my house right now. We are still waiting on an offer from the interview hubby went on last week, but we are confident it will be made in the next couple of days. So, I keep preparing to move…
So hubby is in Iowa today for his interview. I have been on pins and needles all day. He flew out yesterday early in the morning and got to spend yesterday visiting with his friends and looking at houses. If he gets this job, I think we found our house. He is going to look at it after his interview. It is a beautiful old Victorian.
As soon as hubby texted me that picture I knew. It is my house. It is a 2 bedroom (what will be our daughters room is a converted attic bedroom). The night before I had a dream that we had moved and in our new house, Hannah had a converted attic bedroom!
Now, I really hope he is offered this job today or tomorrow!
